Valentine and Stars
It's still February, so I thought I'd add more Valentine-themed stitch diagrams. This is Valentine and Stars, which builds on Sheena's basic Hearts in Hearts stitch.

Frankly, I think the stars (the blue shapes) look like feathers. This might make a good feather or scale stitch on your bird or dragon. Use two different thread types or two different colors to emphasize the two stitch shapes in this one.
