Heart in Hearts

Happy Valentine's Day 2026!  I'm celebrating with two of Sheena's heart stitches.  The first is a great background called Heart in Hearts.

The second is a variation on the first called Heart in Hearts with Beads that Sheena created the following year.  It adds smaller hearts among the larger heart rows with a bead addition.  If you hate adding beads to your needlepoint, or are stitching something that will get some wear, substitute a plus sign --perhaps in a metallic?-- for the beads.
